Leave IT to us.™
Realware is lead by a team of veteran executives with deep experience in a broad array of disciplines including managed services, information technology, telecommunications, and Internet businesses.
Mr. Ali Davachi
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Davachi has many years of hands-on experience with all facets of complex IT project implementation. As a result, he became aware that enterprise quality IT service was not available to smaller companies at affordable prices. He wanted to “Bridge the Gap”, so he founded Realware in 1999 and made its mission: “To deliver enterprise quality IT solutions to small and mid-sized businesses”.
Mr. Davachi's ability to view a particular "problem" from multiple technical (software, hardware and networking) and business (impact on operations, productivity) viewpoints allows him to see potential problems in the initial phases of a project, to create innovative solutions, and avoid costly delays. Mr. Davachi's depth of experience makes him uniquely qualified to implement his vision for Realware, especially given today's ever-changing business environment.
Mr. Davachi held the title of Director of Information Technology at M.R. Weiser & Co. LLP, where his responsibilities included providing Information Technology services designed to assist the company in achieving its strategic goals. During his tenure, Mr. Davachi oversaw the complete re-engineering of the company’s IT infrastructure and the implementation of an advanced network environment, resulting in increased performance, and reliability. During this time Mr. Davachi also developed ProfitPoint, a commercially marketed product, for the Textile Rental Services Association, managing all phases of the product’s development.
Prior to M.R. Weiser & Co, Mr. Davachi founded Magic Carpet Inc., a regional Internet Service Provider focusing on fully managed corporate Internet access. He held the position of President & Chief Technical Officer.
Mr. Bret Pirquet
SVP Business Development
Mr. Pirquet has 20 years of experience in the field of interactive, on-line services and technology. He is an entrepreneur, who has founded, developed and sold three companies. In the early part of his career, he pioneered the development and implementation of high capacity interactive voice response (IVR) services for major media and consumer products companies. Beginning in the mid 1990s, he switched his focus to the Internet and, initially, he was involved with B2C ventures. He was a co-founder and COO of an Internet retailer of fine fragrances, which he sold to Ashford.com. Following the sale, he joined Ashford.com as VP, Operations and played a lead role in the development and implementation of a best in class service solution for this leading luxury goods Internet retailer. Subsequently, Mr. Pirquet was VP & Interactive Services Lead for Givaudan, a multinational flavors and fragrance manufacturer with sales in excess of $2 billion. In this role, he directed the development and implementation of Givaudan's B2B e-commerce strategy, and a new, international strategic business unit focused on small to mid-sized consumer goods companies.
Mr. Pirquet received a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Georgetown University. He is also an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Mr. Paul Gioia
SVP Sales.
Mr. Gioia has 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, and as a result has experience in all facets of the industry. Starting with his career in Manhattan as an account executive, Mr. Gioia was responsible for new business sales, and grew his sales at least 25% per year over the first five years. Mr. Gioia was then elevated to the position of sales manager, managing a team of 10 salespeople. During his six year tenure as sales manager, new system sales grew by an average of 18% per year. Mr. Gioia also implemented new strategies for salespeople to work more closely with operations staff, enabling the installation of new systems to be seamless. It was with this vision that Mr. Gioia was hired for his next position, Vice President of Telecommunications, for a company in Westchester. Since it was a new division, this challenge included setting all procedures related to telecommunications installations, sales, and service, as well as hiring the new team. Mr. Gioia was responsible for the entire P&L of this division. After two years, Mr. Gioia founded Camden Technologies, and teamed with Avaya to become an Avaya Business Partner. Camden specialized in selling to and servicing the small to medium-sized business community, from Voice over IP to traditional telephone systems.
